Healthy and Fit with Metabolic Balance® is our nutrition program with individual supervision.
I am trained as a Metabolic Balance® coach in Calgary who will support you with your plan. During your individual consultations, we will focus on you and identify your individual needs.
After an initial consultation, you get your blood tested. Based on your laboratory results and personal information you will receive an individualized meal plan that guides you through the 4 Phases:
The Preparation Phase
The plan begins with a two-day preparation or cleansing phase that helps prepare your body for its new diet.
The Strict Conversion Phase
This phase takes at least two weeks, and this is where your body gets adjusted to its new eating habits. In this phase you retrain your metabolism, and as a result you experience positive changes, including noticeable weight loss. In general. you'll see an improvement in your mental health and overall wellbeing!
The Relaxed Conversion Phase
In this phase, your food list is expanded and you begin to introduce foods into your mealplan that
were previously forbidden at the beginning of your personalized meal plan. At the same time, you find what works best for you. This phase allows one "treat" meal per week to create flexibility. You will stay on this phase until you reach your goal weight. and so it all depends on how much weight you want to lose.
The Maintenance Phase
In this phase, you've reached your desired weight. and shifted from a "diet " mentality to a "lifestyle" perspective when it comes to your new eating habits. Following the core principles of the program has become second nature to you. As a result, you're now on the road to long term success as you combine your new eating habits with regular exercise.

When you follow your individualized meal plan and its easy rules, what do you get? For starters, there's a natural production of insulin as you experience normal hormone function and a healthy metabolism. As a result, you lose weight and your body feels amazing!
Maintain your weight
By changing your eating habits, you don't just change your weight but also your taste buds change as well. Your cravings for sweet foods, fatty foods, and other foods that wreck havoc on your body, disappear completely. After you've reached your desired weight, you now have the tools to maintain your results for a long time just by following a few simple rules of the program. Although, unlike many other diets, you will not experience the yo-yo effect that is the rea- son those other diets often fail.

With so many weight loss diets, unfortunately you also lose too much muscle mass. However, with Metabolic Balance, you lose weight and keep your muscle. That is why your skin stays naturally stretched and beautiful without any wrinkles.

Metabolic balance® can also be done long-distance. Your coaching and support is offered by Zoom. This makes it accessibleto wherever you are. After the first communication via zoom and the blood draw by your physician or lab, we create your personal metabolic balance® Nutrition Plan.
During a time span of 3 month
Understand more about Metabolic Balance®, talk through your goals and requirements with you coach and submit initial information.
The results of your blood test will form the foundations to your personal nutrition plan.
You will receive an individual nutrition plan with healthy and varied meals. It is surprising how easy it is to change your diet. There are 8 important rules and an iPhone App to support you. Additional services are also available when you log in to your personal account and also the community area. These extra services may incur a cost.
From the very start of the program, you will have a personal coach who will support you through the program; either at the practice or online via Metabolic Balance® Online. You can contact your coach at any time, so feel free to ask questions and share your progress. In return you will receive lots of practical tips and motivational advice.
